The State of Louisiana provides online access to child support information for both custodial and non-custodial parents. Through the Louisiana LA CAFE, you can get information about your account, make a payment or apply for services.
How to Login
Step 1: Visit the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services website and find the ‘Already a User? Click here to log in!’ link.
Step 2: Enter your User ID and Password and click “login”
- If you forgot your password, click “Need help? Click here to get help logging in.” and enter your user ID on the following page.
- If you forgot your User ID, click “forgot User ID” and enter your email address on the following page
How to Enroll
Step 1: Visit the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services website and find the “Click here to get started” link.
Step 2: Read the information on this page and click “next”
Step 3: On the following page, fill out all the required information and follow the instructions given to create an account.
How to Apply
In Louisiana, you can either apply by filling out an application by hand and turning it in to the local child support office, or you can create an account with LA Cafe and apply online.
