Wyoming Child Support Enforcement

By Child-Support.com Staff – Last updated

In order to enforce child support payments in Wyoming a parent who is not receiving child support payments that they are due, may be able to contact the Department of Family Services (DFS) to assist in enforcing payments. The DFS can help locate a parent if the parent has lost contact and then use enforcement measures to make sure they pay.

How to File a Complaint

In Wyoming, a parent must make child support payments as set forth in the child support order, even if it was issued out of state. Child support from other states can be enforced by the Wyoming DFS for kids in Wyoming due to the passage of the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act.

Payment is typically made on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis. If child support payments are not forthcoming as set forth in the child support order, a parent can apply for enforcement services by filling out an application and bringing it to the local child support office with a fee of $25.
