A custodial or noncustodial parent may make a login, make a payment, get information on their balance, and apply for child support at myAlabama.gov or by telephone through the Voice Response System at 1(800) 284-4347.

How to Login

Step 1 – Go to This WebPage.

Step 2 – On the left side of the page either parent may be able to login by using their Username and Password to make a payment, view balances, or see the full history of their payments/receivables.

  • Forgot Username – If you have forgotten your username click the blue link below the ‘Sign in’ button and enter your email in the pop-up window.

  • Forgot Password – If you have forgotten your password you will have to enter your email and Social Security Number (SSN).

How to Enroll

Step 1 – If you would like to create an account you will have to follow go to This Webpage.

Step 2 – Enter the following: First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Social Security Number (SSN), Date of Birth, Sex (Male/Female), Driver’s License Number, and the State the Driver’s License. Click the Next button.

Step 3 – On the following pages you will have to enter your Mailing Address, Answer Security Questions, Create a Username and Password, Sharing Information, and agree to the Terms and Conditions.

How to Apply for Child Support

The following are entitled to receive child support by the State of Alabama:

  • Custodial (including those with emancipated children who are owed arrears that accrued under a court order while the children were minors) and noncustodial parents
  • Individual that are caring for children under the age of nineteen (19) years even if they do not have legal custody
  • Fathers that would like to establish paternity
  • An agency representative that is maintaining custody via court order

Step 2 – Call the local office and make an appointment and complete and bring the following three (3) forms:

In addition bring a blank check or cash for the fee as it will be, depending on the office, between $5 and $25.
