The State of Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS) handles all aspects of child support. For Indiana parents who are seeking payment of back child support, DCS will provide enforcement services including locating non-paying parents and instituting enforcement proceedings. DCS will also establish child support orders based upon the provisions in Indiana law. DCS also provides a way for parents to electronically make child support payments.

In Indiana, a custodial parent can login to the Indiana website and obtain information about the last five child support payments made.  Similarly, a non-custodial parent can check to see the last five child support payments posted. Indiana Child Support Calculator | Guidelines

The Indiana Child Support Calculator provides a way for a parent to estimate out how much you may owe in child support. The parent can make this calculation online.  The interactive calculator allows the parent to provide certain information in order to obtain an estimate of child support that may be owed. Indiana Child Support Enforcement

Indiana offers many services to parents who are seeking child support including enforcement services.  In order to access these services, you must inform the Department of Child Services about who you are, who the children are and who you are seeking support from. Indiana Child Support Laws | Indiana Code Title 31 Article 16

In Indiana, Title 31, Article 16 of the Indiana Code, sets forth the conditions and circumstances for the imposition of a child support order. In addition, the statutes provide for enforcement of orders and modification guidelines. In determining whether to issue a child support order, the court takes into account factors including parental financial resources, the standard of living the child is accustomed to, as well as the educational needs and medical needs of the child.
