The Wisconsin Department of Children and Families Child Support Program helps to make sure that Wisconsin children of broken families receive the financial support that they are due. They do this by helping custodial parents locate non custodial parents who have lost contact. In addition, they will help establish paternity if paternity is in question. Custodial parents can apply for enforcement services if a child support order is in effect but the non custodial parent isn’t making the required payments. Finally, Wisconsin provides online access to child support accounts. In 2024, Wisconsin will be making some changes to its child support laws and guidelines – click here to see them.
