Kansas Child Support Services (CSS) is an organization administered under the Kansas Department for Children and Families that provides child support services to families in Kansas. CSS provides enforcement services of pre-existing child support orders as well as assisting with the establishment of new child support orders or the modification of child support orders. In addition, CSS provides different methods of making child support payments. Many of the services provided by CSS are online, interactive services, such as making payments and keeping track of child support accounts.
Kansas has online tools for both custodial parents and non custodial parents to keep track of child support payments sent and child support payments received, as well as offering a method making child support payments. The Kansas Child Support Calculator is a worksheet through which you can calculate the amount of child support you may have to pay or may be able to receive. The calculator uses the guidelines promulgated by the Kansas Supreme Court, Administrative Order No. 261 and they are the same guidelines used by the court and the Child Support Services.
