The New Jersey child support calculator, is an online automatic calculation. The calculator is for estimation purposes only and can be used to get a sense of what may be owed, but the court may take other factors into consideration when issuing the child support order. The court has the final say in how much child support is payable by a given parent.

Step 3: Enter the following information and click “calculate support amount”
- Number Of Children
- Worksheet Type
- NCP Percent Parenting Time
- Gross Taxable Income (weekly)
- Prior Support Orders (weekly)
- Filing Status
The calculator uses the New Jersey Child Support Guidelines in order to calculate the estimate of the amount owed. The amounts you enter should consider the requirements of these guidelines.
