The Florida Department of Revenue’s Child Support Program, provides many services to separated or divorced parents of minor children. The program helps custodial parents find absent parents so that they may have a role in the financial support of their children. In addition, the program will assist in locating potential assets of the non-custodial parent which can be used for child support. The program also offers services to establish paternity. Finally, the program will enforce existing child support orders, establish new child support orders and provide electronic methods for parents to make and receive child support payments.

Florida Child Support Calculator | Guidelines

The Florida child support calculator is a worksheet used by the Florida courts to make a determination as to how much child support is to be paid by a parent in the event of divorce or separation. In order to calculate the amount you may owe, you will need to have your income and costs available. The amount you calculate will only be an estimate. Florida Child Support Enforcement

If you are a parent or caregiver in Florida who needs child support or is owed child support, you can apply for child support from the Florida Department of Revenue Child Support Program.  If you receive public assistance in Florida, however, you may not need to apply. In order to file a complaint, you should either call customer service to have an application mailed to you or go to your local office to apply.
