The State of Washington Division of Child Support (DCS) assists parents with the financial support of their children when there has been a divorce or separation or the parents were never married. The DCS assists parents by helping to find missing parents, enforcing existing child support orders, establishing paternity and modifying child support orders. In addition, DCS provides online resources for parents to keep track of payments made and the status of their case. In addition, DCS provides interactive worksheets so that parents can make estimates of how much child support they may owe or are owed.

The State of Washington Division of Child Support provides a child support estimator for parents seeking to get a sense of the amount child support payments may be if ordered by the court. This calculator is only an estimate and the actual amount may be different because the court may have additional information of factors that it takes into account. Washington Child Support Enforcement

In order to enforce child support payments in the state of Washington, a custodial parent who is not receiving monies owed from the non-custodial parent, may be able to contact the Washington Division of Child Support (DCS) to get assistance.  DCS may be able to help locate the other parent if contact has been lost and arrange to have any arrears paid through wage garnishment, imposition of liens, or other enforcement measures.
