The Hawaii Child Support Enforcement Agency is an Agency under the direction of the Hawaii Attorney General’s office. The Agency is tasked with assisting divorced or separated parents in establishing child support, enforcing existing child support orders or being a clearing house for child support payments. Child support payments are determined by the Hawaiian child support guidelines which take into account many factors including income of the parents, time with the children and health insurance premiums.
The State of Hawaii provides a method by which those who owe child support can make electronic payments through a state based tracking system. The system allows the user to schedule payments out of their designated bank account, as well as track payments and keep track of payments already made. The Hawaii Child Support Calculator is a form through which you can estimate the amount of child support you may have to pay or may be able to receive. The calculator uses the guidelines promulgated by the Hawaii Family Court and they are the same guidelines used by the court and the Child Support Enforcement Agency when establishing child support orders.
