Alabama Child Support Guidelines – Alabama Rules of Judicial Administration Rule 32 |
The Alabama child support guidelines set forth the conditions upon which child support is awarded to one parent or another for the financial support of the children. The guidelines take into account income of both parents, health care needs and coverage of the children, educational needs of the children and childcare needs while a custodial parent is working or looking for work. The guidelines also take into account the unemployment of either parent. A court can take other factors into consideration depending on circumstances.
