The State of Michigan has online tools for both custodial parents and non-custodial parents to make payments, check child support case status, and check child support balances. In addition, a parent can apply for services online.
How to Login
Step 1: Go to this page
Step 2: Enter your user name and password and click “login”
- If you forgot your user name, click, “forgot your username?” and you will be brought to this page where you enter your email address and click “submit”.
- If you forgot your password, click “forgot your password?” and you will be brought to this page where you enter your username and click “submit”.
How to Enroll
Step 1: Go to this page and click on “sign up to view your child support case information”.
Step 2: You will be brought to this page where you click you do not have an micase account.
Step 3: You will then be brought to this page which explains what you need and click “continue”
Step 4: You will be brought to this page where you create a username and click “continue”
Step 5:
You will then have to create a password and enter your email address and security hints. You will also need your social security number and a case number to complete the process.
Payments
In order to make or receive payments for child support online, you must go to this site for tools and information.
How to Apply
In Michigan, you can apply for child support manually following these instructions or you can apply online by going to the following site and clicking “apply for or finish my child support application”
