The Nevada child support laws provide that each parent has an obligation to financially support their children.  In addition, if the parents are separated, the parent with custody may seek to obtain support for the children from the parent not living with the children. The Nevada laws provide for guidelines based on a parent’s income to determine the amount of child support that is due.
