The South Dakota Child Support laws provide the conditions upon which a court will issue a child support order will be issued. In addition, the laws set forth how paternity shall be established and the jurisdiction of the court in being allowed to establish child support orders. The laws also provide for payroll deductions and other methods of enforcement for moms or dads who fail to pay as ordered by the court.
