New York Child Support Laws | Titles 6-A and 6-B of the New York State Social Services Law

The New York State laws pertaining to child support set forth the authority given to the Division of Child Support Enforcement to enforce child support orders. In addition to enforcing orders, the laws directs the division to set up a registry to keep records of child support cases and to keep track of payments and child support arrears.
